By Maricon Williams The most controversial motorcycle apparel is the helmet. Join me and rate yourself on how well you know motorcycle helmets and in choosing the best of its kind… There are different kinds of motorcycle helmet. Full face helmets are identifiable because of their protection around the chin thus, giving maximum protection. Open face or three quarter motorcycle helmet, on the other hand, protects the side of the face and the ears. Often, its visors are detachable. This helmet can be opened on the chin part. Moreover, it is advantageous to those who wear glasses. Motocross helmet varies from the rest of the helmets because it includes a dirt cap. Finally, we have shorty or half helmet, this is the simplest form of helmet. It offers no side and chin protection. Aside from protection, one thing that you must also consider in purchasing your helmet is comfort. Helmet must make you feel safe yet comfy. You can have the fiberglas shell helmet if you want your helmet to be high-impact resistant and durable. However, you can have a polycarbonate shell helmet if you want light and study helmet. Liners absorb perspiration so that the rider will not feel drenched.
To be cool and relaxing, proper ventilation is indispensable. Opening it will enable the air to leave the helmet. Also bear in mind to choose light helmet to have a comfortable ride. Graphics for the Motorcycle Helmet
By Low Jeremy Buying a motorcycle is not that different from buying a car. Motorcycle helmets are so important and vital to one’s safety that state laws have actually required people to wear them while riding the bike. There are many types to choose from. But whatever the designs or the materials, the person should check the helmet for safety and comfort before buying it and cruising down the highway on the motorbike. People will notice that most of the headgears sold come in bright colors such as white, red, yellow and orange. Bright colors are more visible especially at night. The number of accidents has actually gone up by 12 percent compared to last year’s in a report given by the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute. Most people put reflective stickers on the side and back of the helmet. Others spray paint this with a certain design. Lightning bolt, reflective eagle, checker flag and halo are just some of the hundreds of graphics that can be placed on the helmet. The individual will not have a hard time looking for an auto detailing shop that offer these services. The price for the graphics may go from $4 to $8 a piece. When a graphic design is chosen, the person will have to leave the helmet with the manufacturer. People will notice the difference between a plain and colored helmet and one that has graphics on it. For as long as people ride motorcycles, there will always be a market for those who want something different on their helmet. Edited by Agus Wahyudi Popularity: 3% [?]

[...] Helmets – Although these aren’t strictly considered as motorcycle accessories, they do serve ornamental purposes as well when you purchase stylishly designed and branded helmets. [...] Post a comment
